2. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all orders placed on the website https://l-atelier-des-j.fr, and govern the contractual relationship between Jonathan VARELA, operating under the name L'Atelier des J, and any customer, whether individual or professional.
Any order placed on the website implies unconditional acceptance of these GTC.
3. Products
The products offered on the site are tactical accessories designed to meet the specific needs of law enforcement and field professionals.
- 3D printed products are designed and manufactured in Charente-Maritime in our workshop.
- Some components (e.g. reflective strips, LED lamps, screws) are not made in France but are selected for their robustness and compatibility with tactical equipment.
Product images are provided for illustration purposes only. Colors and dimensions may vary slightly due to differences in the manufacturing process and materials used.
4. Prices
The prices displayed on the site are expressed in euros (€).
VAT:
L'Atelier des J benefits from the VAT exemption scheme in accordance with Article 293 B of the General Tax Code. Consequently, VAT is not applicable and cannot be reclaimed.
Delivery Charges:
- Metropolitan France: Delivery fees are calculated according to the chosen carrier (Colissimo or Mondial Relay) and specified before the order is finalized.
- International: Additional fees may apply depending on the destination and the selected carrier.
The total amount, including delivery charges, is displayed before the final confirmation of the order.
5. Order and Confirmation
Order validation occurs when the customer confirms their cart and proceeds to payment using one of the offered methods.

- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
- PayPal
- Apple Pay / Google Pay (depending on availability in the customer's country)
- Local payment solutions adapted to certain countries
Order Confirmation: A confirmation email is sent after payment validation.
Product Unavailability:
In the event of a stock shortage or temporary unavailability, L’Atelier des J commits to informing the customer as soon as possible and proposing a solution:
- A replacement with an equivalent product.
- A full refund if no alternative is suitable.
6. Payment Terms
Payments are fully secured thanks to our payment partners.
No cash or cheque payments are accepted.
7. Delivery
Products are shipped after payment validation and a preparation period of 24 to 48 business hours.
Estimated Delivery Times:
- Metropolitan France: 2 to 4 business days.
- International: 5 to 7 business days (variable depending on the destination).
Carriers: Orders are shipped exclusively via Colissimo and Mondial Relay.
8. Cancellation and Returns
In accordance with French legislation, the customer has a period of 14 days from the receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to provide any reason.
Returned products must be in perfect condition, unused, and in their original packaging.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
No specific return form is required. The customer must contact customer service at the email address contact@l-atelier-des-j.fr to obtain return instructions.
9. Legal Warranty of Conformity and Hidden Defects
All products sold benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects.
10. Intellectual Property
All elements of the site, including texts, images, logos, and designs, are the exclusive property of L'Atelier des J or their authors.
Any reproduction, modification, or unauthorized use is prohibited.
11. Personal Data Protection
In accordance with the GDPR, L'Atelier des J is committed to protecting the personal data of its customers. This information is necessary for order processing and is never sold to third parties.
12. Force Majeure
L'Atelier des J cannot be held responsible in the event of non-performance or delay due to an unforeseeable and irresistible event (e.g. natural disaster, war, strike).
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These GTC are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the customer can contact customer service at contact@l-atelier-des-j.fr.
If no agreement is reached, mediation is possible before any legal action is taken.
The competent court will be that of Niort, France.
